The Kiwanis Club of Mashpee was chartered in November of 1995
Major Milestones: Mashpee Kiwanis has received rewards from the Town of Mashpee for outstanding service to the community; The Club was also recognized by the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce as the Community Service Organization of the Year
Community Impact: The Club has provided many scholarships over the years to Mashpee High School Key Club members; provided backpacks yearly filled with essentials for schoolchildren; donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod; given numerous gift cards to local grocery stores that have been distributed to local families to prevent food insecurity; contributed to the building of a inclusive therapeutic playground at a local elementary school; helped build a playground at a local domestic violence shelter; helped with a regional pediatric trauma institute as well as numerous other projects.
Current Mission and Goals: To improve the lives of children, one child and one community at a time.
